Collection: Our department has over 33,000 books available for all reading levels and interests! But the library has so much more than just books! We have over 1,000 DVDs and Blu-Rays available for checkout, as well as magazines, board games, books on CDs, and music. The library encourages parents, guardians, and mentors to take an active role helping individual children choose books and other materials that are the best fit for them and their families.
Programs: The library offers many engaging and educational programs for all ages. We offer a weekly storytime, as well as crafts, STEM learning, games, movie viewings, and so much more! Please check with the library for programming dates and details.
Digital Books, Audiobooks, and Videos: The Libby app and TumbleBooks provide e-books, audiobooks, streaming videos, and Read-Alongs specifically designed for youth and includes picture books, easy readers, youth fiction, youth nonfiction, young adult, and more.
Computers: Computers are available for children in the children's department. Adults must keep child(ren) in view when using the computer lab. A valid library card is required.
Reference Assistance: Staff members at the Youth Services desk are always ready and willing to help you locate an item, get started on an assignment, use a library resource, or find out more about a topic.
